Buzzcut. Short, full beard. Keeps in shape - muscular build.

Occupation:
Skipper of the U.E.S. Tenacity, specialty in theoretical astrobiology. Assigned this mission due to an injury and excellent service record. Kyle was one of the earliest members of Project Orion.

Personality: Comeau has always been keen on the idea of exploration and space. He often feels a need to plan well in advance, before attempting some new action.

History:
Comeau was raised in Toronto, Ontario. He grew up the son of a construction worker and a nurse, and during his childhood spent much time reading about space. After he graduated from High School, he started schooling in Molecular Biology. After he completed his first degree, he continued his studies toward a doctorate, and specialized in Theoretical Astrobiology. Nearing the end of his doctorate studies, Comeau joined the Canadian Army Reserves, in order to continue paying for his schooling (in Canada, those with degrees who join the army, navy, or airforce, automatically have an officer's rank). At 26, soon after the war had ended, he applied for Project Orion, and started officer training, maintaining top scores through most of his classes. Project Orion leadership took Comeau's previous military rank into consideration, and as they were badly in need of ranking officers for their fourth mission, they offered him a temporary gig as a drill instructor. During his tenancy in the drill instructor position, Comeau was raised in rank to First Officer, on the Tenacity's roster. The month before lift off, however, Skipper Husain fell during a training exercise, and landed awkwardly, severing his lower spine - reparable, but time consuming. In the meantime, deadlines being what they are, Comeau has been promoted to the Rank of Skipper, and Husain has been scheduled to be the skipper of the next ship.
